500 Items Hair Testing

Love food, but feel like no matter how you eat, food isn’t loving you back?

Strange symptoms appearing and disappearing so you can never quite work out what is contributing to them?

The number of people suffering from allergies, food sensitivities and intolerances is increasing all the time. For many people though, there isn’t any allergy or intolerance to diagnose, just a new negative reaction to foods or household and personal care products you may have previously been ok with eating or using. Do you have:

  • Itchy, scratchy skin
  • Brain fog, poor concentration
  • Fatigue
  • Migraines, headaches
  • Upset tummy, diarrhoea, constipation, stinky wind or burping, reflux
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Skin issues
  • Sinus congestion, post-nasal drip, chronic cough
  • Nutrient deficiencies
  • Worsening of symptoms from an existing condition like asthma, eczema, psoriasis, or arthritis?

These may be your body’s response or adverse reaction to food. It may not even be food! It could be a cleaning, personal care or other household product causing your issues.

So how do you know what’s the problem?

It can be really hard to work out what food is contributing to your pain and discomfort or exacerbating your existing symptoms. Elimination diets are often recommended, but they are very hard to stick with for long enough to see accurate results. And for some people these may put you at risk of nutrient deficiencies or reduce the foods you can eat to a very small number. Boring, tedious and unrealistic!

Maybe you’ve tried elimination or special anti-inflammatory diets and just ended up confused, frustrated and none the wiser as to the offending foods. I don’t believe there is one diet or way of eating that suits everyone, and this is why what works for one person may not work for you. We are all unique with a different genetic make up and capacity to respond to the environment around us.

Modern food and farming methods mean that what we eat isn’t what our bodies are used to. Soil quality is not what it used to be. Fertilisers, irradiation, genetic modification, pasteurisation, additives, preservatives, colours and flavours all change the food that we eat from what our grandparents and their parents ate.

Switching to organic or avoiding gluten may bring you some relief, but for others it doesn’t make much of a difference. This is where food bio-compatibility testing is so useful as it helps us work out what foods are compatible to you.

Consuming foods or using products that aren’t compatible with our body may reduce our cellular function, increase inflammation and activate the immune system. This may be why people experience pain, discomfort or worsening of existing symptoms. Inflammation is involved in many chronic diseases, including allergy formation.

The 500 Foods Bio-compatibility Test is a simple, non-invasive hair test that has been used with great success (especially with kids and babies) for over 30 years. By testing your cells (hair) against foods, drinks, condiments and household products, we can build a picture of what has a positive or negative effect on you. Find out what is your friend and what is your foe!

Enjoy eating again without any side effects.

After your hair has been tested, you’ll receive a complete report with a list of foods that are compatible and incompatible with you right now. I’ll be right there to support you through changing the way you eat to match the list.

As soon as you remove incompatible foods and products, your cells start repairing and restoring function. This process takes about 6-9 months. After this time it is recommended that you re-test. Many people find they gain back most of the foods that were incompatible. Hooray!
